Question: Do I actually need a new starter ?
2002 corolla, Just had 90,000 inspections ($400) and told everything is good. a week later, had to get a new battery after the 9 years old battery died. This morning, the car did not start b/c I did not turn off the front lights last off night. AAA guy had to giggle the starter to get it to start. I did not mention to AAA guy about left the light on all night. He said I should get starter fixed/replaced. I think problem caused by the front light was on all night, not the starter, right?. I don't need a new car since I use my car very little and want to keep this car going as long as I can. Or you think I should get starter looked at? Note did have inspection a month ago. My car has 97000 miles. My car has an automatic transmission.
