Question: wher is the starter for this 1995 suburban?

I can't locate or remove the starter from my 1995 Chevy Suburban

Disconnect the battery first. On the passenger side of the engine block, next to the oil pan, just in front of the transmission is the starter. There's a big wire from the battery, and a small wire from the starter relay. Note where they each go. Two vertical bolts hold the starter in, 15mm. Not hard, but pretty heavy, so try not to drop it on your face. Only put the shim in if the new starter grinds.
